Philippe Guibert is an international medical consulting expert with more than 26 years of experience. He is currently working as the Regional Medical Director for Consulting Services of the Asia region within International SOS in Singapore. Dr Guibert is primary responsible for the coordination and development of health consulting business practices, such as corporate health, occupational health and public health, across Asia. He has gained considerable knowledge in the management of medical teams working in remote sites, the development of medical guidelines and protocols and the delivery of health consulting services.

As a specialist in international Public Health, Dr Guibert has undertaken numerous missions involving audits, site surveys and health impact assessments in Africa, Asia and South-America. He has substantial experience of managing more than 500 consulting services across Asia.

In his capacity as the Regional Medical Director, Dr Guibert has completed a number of consulting projects, such as pandemic preparedness planning and infectious diseases response, corporate health plan development, preparation of operating health procedures for numerous oil and gas, banking, manufacturing, mining or IT corporations.

Philippe Guibert has graduated as a medical doctor from the Pierre & Marie Curie University in Paris, France, and holds a Master of Public Health from this University. A regular speaker at events, conferences and media, he supports the promotion of global health priorities and values to the stakeholders of a safer, healthier world.

Charles Timmis is the Regional Security Manager of a joint venture unit between International SOS and Control Risks based in Hong Kong.

Charles leads client engagements and develops bespoke solutions for organisations supporting them in their travel risk mitigation strategies, policies and procedures.

Prior to this role, Charles was the Regional Security Manager for Asia Pacific based in Singapore, where he built and led the operational delivery of security support for International SOS clients operating in Asia Pacific.

During major incidents, Charles is also a member of the incident team deployed to the site to provide on-the-ground security advice and assistance.

Charles brings with him a depth and breadth of understanding, expertise and over 25 years of experience within the security field and within the Asia Pacific region. He was a Gurkha Officer in the British army for over 10 years, before being employed by the UNOPS as a logistician in Indonesia. Over the years, he has travelled extensively and lived in many countries across the Asia Pacific region.
