Our first 2019 WIB luncheon is timely as it will also be on the month of International Women's day which was held on 8 March 2019. With the theme "Better the Balance, Better the World, #BalanceforBetter," the luncheon aims to highlight the programs and initiatives of leaders that help create a gender-balanced world from the grass roots level to making a global impact. Because of this global celebration, ANZCHAM's Women in Business committee has invited Prof. Muhammad Yunus, 2006 Nobel Peace Prize Awardee and Founder of Grameen Australia, and Hon. Lucy Torres-Gomez, Leyte 4th District Representative. We are looking forward to their short presentation about their experiences in celebrating women in the forefront, and driving balance in the working world.
