Event Details

In episode two of 101 Things I Learned in Fashion School, you will ease into the construction and design process. Lizzie and Lucy will guide you through the design process starting with drawing designs, taking measurements, reading patterns, and constructing garments.

During this workshop, we will have hands-on activities to understand the construction process and an opportunity for you to look at sample pieces created by the instructors. The workshop will also include an open sew session at the end, where you can ask personalized questions and receive feedback.

We encourage you to come up with ideas of what you hope to create by the end of this workshop series- skirt, pants, button-up, or vest- before arriving!

If you'd like to bring your own machine to learn on, please reach out to education@generatorvt.com before registering!
