You are invited to join the upcoming panel discussion on "The China ? US Trade War: Its Effects Globally and on Thailand."
Join us for an informative and lively discussion on the escalating trade war between the world's two biggest economies. With a combined income of over USD 600 billion in trade, these two countries have been locked in a tit-for-tat tariff battle that continues to intensify and broaden. The IMF estimates that a worsening US-China trade war might cost the global economy USD 430 billion, or 0.5% of the global GDP.
The AMCHAM Trade & Investment Committee and Automotive Council are pleased to present an impressive panel of expert speakers, who will provide updates on the trade war; its potential ripple effect on global commerce; and the risks and opportunities this could present to Thailand, as a global production and export hub for industries impacted by the trade war.
This event will be held in Pattaya and will precede the October Eastern Seaboard (ESB) Networking Evening, hosted by AMCHAM. The event is held in conjunction with the Dutch, Australian, British, Canadian, German, Mexican, Singapore, South African and BeluThai Chambers of Commerce.
