Introduction to Cultural Perspectives and Intercultural Awareness - Part 1

Come and join our next Community of Practice (CoP) session below:

Date: Tuesday, 30 April 2024

Topic: Introduction to Cultural Perspectives and Intercultural Awareness - Part 1

Time: 8 to 9 pm (Singapore Time)

Globalisation of the world together with the increasing ethnic and cultural diversity in work, school and even the home-front require culturally-aware persons to effectively navigate such settings. This session delves into theories, current trends, and locally relevant activities to heighten participants' understanding of culture's intricate role in communication across different contexts. Divided into two parts, the sessions will delve into how our cultural backgrounds influence our cognitive processes, behaviors, and perception of others. Participants will also learn strategies to increase their competence in intercultural communication.

We are delighted to invite Ms. Barbara Eu, Hofstede CWQ(Trademark) Consultant and Intercultural Learning Trainer to share the topic with our fellow EC fraternity on "Introduction to Cultural Perspectives and Intercultural Awareness".

Do join us in the upcoming CoP and register online. Slots are limited on a first-come-first-served basis. We will notify you via a confirmation email once your registration is approved.
