The School of Leadership and Education Sciences at the University of San Diego has a focus on international education for all graduate students. Study Abroad programming is not only embedded in the curriculum but also a graduation requirement. This means that professors have the opportunity to create experiences that explores multicultural learning, self-interrogation, and (structured) fun. This presentation will highlight some common pitfalls when creating study abroad programs and best practices to create the best experience possible.
