The German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) and the Thai Ministry of Energy (MoEN) have initiated a dialogue on energy transition topics to support both countries’ effort’s in achieving carbon neutrality. The Dialogue is implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. Topics span from renewable energies to energy efficiency, green hydrogen and private sector cooperation in a wider sense. As private sector investments and expertise play a key role in enabling both countries’ energy transitions, the TGED intends to foster Thai – German business cooperation by involving companies closely in the programme.
