Dear Subscriber,

SAAFoST Cape Branch invites you to an exciting face-to-face event where an
Artificial Intelligence (AI) discussion will take centre stage.

Cost: R115.00 for SAAFoST members, R57.50 for Student members and R230.00 for non-members including VAT.
This talk will take us on a whistle-stop tour of the technologies that have shaped our food and agricultural landscapes, punctuated by notable events and key advances. Our latest technology to advance food security comes in the form of Artificial Intelligence (AI). We will explore how AI is used to imagine new food types and its role in shaping sustainable agriculture. Finally, we will look towards a future where food systems must be secured for a growing population in an increasingly uncertain climate and onto extraterrestrial farms.
