Event Details

The Australian Sustainable Finance Institute (ASFI) is pleased to host a webinar for Australian state government treasuries and their issuing agencies on the development of the Australian sustainable finance taxonomy.

We are pleased to invite you to an ASFI State Government briefing of the second and final round of public consultation on the development of an Australian sustainable finance taxonomy.

This session will provide an overview of the taxonomy's development to date and the work being put forward in this round of public consultation. There will also be opportunity for Q&A with ASFI's Head of Taxonomy and Natural Capital, Nicole Yazbek-Martin.

In the second round of public consultation, ASFI is seeking feedback on:

  • The climate change mitigation criteria for all six priority sectors for development;
  • a Do No Significant Harm framework;
  • minimum social safeguards; and
  • the proposed use cases and rule set, comprising advice for how taxonomy users can demonstrate alignment with the taxonomy.

You can read more about the Australian Taxonomy Project here.
