JHANICE V. DOMINGO, ESQ. is a Partner at Pashman Stein Walder Hayden, P.C. in the firm’s Family Law, Alternative Dispute Resolution, and Litigation Practice Groups. Jhanice was born in Manila, Philippines and immigrated to the United States in 1986 at the age of nine. She attended Boston College where she earned a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Women’s Studies. In 2002, she received a J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law.

Jhanice is the first woman President of the National Filipino American Lawyers Association (NFALA). During her presidency in 2016-2017, she formed NFALA’s first-ever Women Lawyers Affinity Network and reinforced NFALA’s Women’s Leadership Institute by partnering with Pinay Powerhouse, a women’s annual conference focused on empowering Filipina American attorneys and aspiring attorneys as leaders in the law.

Jhanice is active in the Asian Pacific American Lawyers Association of NJ (APALA-NJ), having served on APALA-NJ’s Executive Board for four years, as Treasurer in 2011-2012, Vice President in 2012-2013, President-Elect in 2013-2014, and President in 2014-2015. Since 2012, Jhanice also has been the Chair of APALA-NJ's Judicial and Prosecutorial Appointments Committee (JPAC), which facilitates the appointment of qualified APA candidates to the judiciary and to other appointive positions in state and federal government.

Jhanice’s leadership and concerted efforts for more than a decade as APALA-NJ’s JPAC Chair has spurred robust dialogue with the Governor’s office, various senatorial offices and within NJ’s bench and bar regarding the need for further diversity in government and law. Jhanice’s commentary “Seeking Greater Diversity in the Bench and Bar” was published in the 2013 Edition of NJ Lawyer Magazine and the Op-Ed she co-authored entitled “Another Chance to Diversify NJ Supreme Court Falls Victim to Politics” was published by the Star Ledger in 2016. Jhanice also has organized Continuing Legal Education seminars such as “The Nuts & Bolts of the Appointment Process for the Judiciary, State Board, Commissions & Authorities” conducted at the NJ Law Center and has been a moderator and speaker in many seminars regarding “Pathways to the Judiciary” for diverse attorneys. She also participated in the “Reenactment of The Constitution in a Time of War: Trial of Minoru Yasui,” which was presented to the Administrative Office of the Courts and at Judicial College.

Jhanice currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Legal Services of New Jersey. She has been recognized by various organizations for her professional achievements, including Women Worth Watching Profiles in Diversity Journal in 2021; NJ Law Journal Diverse Attorney of the Year in 2017 and New Leader of the Bar in 2013; NJ Commission on Professionalism in the Law Professional Lawyer of the Year Award in 2017; Best Lawyers of America (Family Law); NJ Super Lawyers Rising Stars and NJ Super Lawyers (Family Law). She is also one of 100 early to mid-career minority attorneys to be selected in the Lawyers of Color Inaugural Eastern Region 2013 Hot List.

Daniel Roche is a partner and managing director of the Forensic Consulting Group practice for CBIZ. He appraises business interests and provides litigation support for a wide variety of clientele. Daniel’s experience includes appraising companies and providing litigation support for family law matters and commercial litigation matters as well as non-litigation (estate and gift tax/financial reporting) purposes.

Daniel is a frequent presenter on business valuation topics, both within CBIZ and externally, at continuing legal education seminars.

Daniel holds the Accredited Senior Appraiser (“ASA”) designation from the American Society of Appraisers. He is also a Certified Public Accountant licensed in New Jersey and holds the Accredited in Business Valuation (“ABV”) credential from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
