Aisha Francis is a visionary leader whose unwavering commitment to faith, family, and social justice fuels her work across corporate, non-profit, and entrepreneurial sectors. As the Founder of Project: Restore FIBI, she pioneered a family-first initiative to mitigate the systemic impacts of incarceration on Black families in the Greater Toronto Area.
At Kairos: Canadian Ecumenical Justice Initiatives, Aisha steered the organization through a critical transition by championing national and global advocacy for Indigenous Rights, Ecological Justice, Migrant Justice, and Gender Rights. While transforming operational policies, embedding equity-based frameworks, and revitalizing a flagship program through inclusive leadership.
Currently, as Director of Development and Communication at the CEE Centre for Young Black Professionals, she drives strategic development and community impact. After concluding her role as Board Chair at the end of this month, Aisha is poised to take on a new leadership role as the Interim Executive Director of Eva's Initiatives for Homeless Youth beginning in March. Recognized as one of the 100 Accomplished Black Canadian Women in 2020, she remains a passionate advocate for inclusive spaces, policy innovation, and the empowerment of future leaders.
