Solange Charas is with us again sharing the predictions she has for Leaders regarding their organization's Workforce in 2025. Joining her is Stela Lupushor, founder of Reframe.Work Inc.
One of the most significant predictions they make is that corporations will increasingly polarize into two distinct "camps": dark organizations that use deregulation to minimize disclosure and accountability around human capital centric programs; and light organizations that embrace transparency and strengthen their human- capital centric programs.
Another trend they anticipate is that restrictive immigration policies as well as the deportation of 20 Million people will create severe talent shortages in tech, healthcare and specialized industries.
The Social Safety Net will be carried more and more by the Private Sector. Leading companies will step in to fill gaps left by reduced government oversight and social programs.
Access to labor may potentially increase because gig economy work will become less attractive or viable due to either repeal or significant changes to the ACA.
Work is transforming as AI moves from a tool to collaborator, creating an agentic workplace defined as an environment where human workers actively collaborate with delegate to and orchestrate work alongside digital agents.
Workplace culture will become increasingly polarized as societal divisions spill into corporate environments. Particularly contentious will be DEI initiatives.
As a Human Capital leader you are no longer simply the manager of the Human Capital programs, but are more importantly accountable for the financial, cultural and human impact of these programs on enterprise performance.
Solange is a Professor of Practice at Columbia University, Distinguished Principal Research Fellow at The Conference Board and the Founder and CEO of HCMoneyball, a SaaS-based solution which allows subscribers to use data to benchmark and optimize the efficiency and returns on Human Capital investments.
