Color Marketing Group®

Color Marketing Group® (CMG) is The Premier International Association for Color Design Professionals®. Our mission is creating accurate and relevant color and trend forecast information by connecting global color professionals in their shared passion.

A not-for-profit international association of color design professionals, Color Marketing Group® is a forum for the exchange of all things color. Members represent a broad spectrum of designers, marketers, color scientists, consultants, educators, and artists.

Since 1962, CMG members have been turning a shared passion for color, into business opportunities across all industries. Our members come together at local and international color forecasting events to interpret, create, forecast, and select colors with the goal of enhancing manufactured goods and services. By collaborating, we better identify the direction of color and design trends. Then, interpret that information across industries.

You live in color and so do we. Its influences are everywhere, the environment, social issues, changing political climates – they all impact color in one industry, which have a reverberating effect on another. We believe the only way to stay competitive within such constant change, is by harnessing each other’s endless flow of knowledge and understanding.

About

If you shared in our experience last year you'll know it's so much more than a live stream. Share in the future of color by participating in this collaborative and interactive experience during which we'll reveal the latest color trends for 2023 and beyond gathered during our global in-person and virtual color forecasting events. This year our Summit will welcome even more of our members from far and wide to enter the conversation for a truly global experience. We'll offer topic-focused virtual networking events with luminaries in the color design field. We'll share insights, exchange ideas, and, above all, chat about color!

A Virtual Summit Experience

The Summit is a two-day virtual experience offering a mix of interactive networking sessions with the global color design community; multi-media presentations, and panel discussions on all things COLOR!

DAY ONE features the revelation of our 2023+ World Color Forecast™, comprising the results of our global color forecasting in-person and virtual events held in 2021. The World Color Forecast reveals the top 64 color directions that CMG's global color design community believes will be trending in 2023 and beyond. The Summit will showcase presentations from our four Forecast regions including North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, and Latin America, each of whom will present the top 3 Color Trend Stories with supporting color directions. Guest Speakers include Alicia Keshishian, an award-winning design professional with more than 40 years of experience, and Rana Kadra, the Regional Colour Marketing & Creative Manager – Jotun Paints (Middle East, India & Africa).

DAY TWO highlights CMG's President, Peggy Van Allen, presenting the overview of our Color Forecast, combining the results from all four Regional Forecasts and analyzing the hue families and their evolution from 2022 to 2023. Guest Speakers include Doty Horn, Founding Director of ColorVoyant, a visionary color marketing consulting firm formed in early 2011, and Kole Montross a professional post-production specialist, Photoshop expert, and master printer with over 15 years of experience in the studio, lab, and agency settings. Our Panel discussion will feature a global line-up of color design experts exploring how they CREATE!

Each day will be "topped and tailed" with our CMG ColorChat™ Committee, offering you the chance to join the conversation and network with our color tribe across a multitude of topics including CMF trends, region-specific color trend information, and more!
