Overview

The NIBA Mentoring Program caters to young professionals in the general insurance industry, offering them a platform to grow and excel.

Past program participants have said it is one of the most rewarding experiences of their career.

The program empowers young professionals to enhance their industry knowledge, establish clear development objectives, and reach new heights of achievement by engaging in dynamic mentoring partnerships with experienced industry leaders.

Thanks to our sponsors, we are able to offer this program at no cost, enabling us to continue supporting the growth and development of young professionals in our industry.

Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

Participating in the NIBA Mentoring Program entitles both mentees and mentors to earn twelve (12) CPD points. To qualify for these points, participants must successfully complete the program in full. Mentees must also demonstrate their learning and development outcomes by delivering a short verbal presentation during the final workshop.

Schedule

The NIBA Mentoring Program is offered once a year in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, and Perth.

Spanning over 12 weeks, the program offers a range of learning and development opportunities. Participants will engage in three (3) interactive face to face group workshops, benefit from two (2) insightful webinars, and participate in seven (7) dedicated mentee/mentor sessions.

To support the learning journey, each participant will receive a comprehensive program handbook that serves as a valuable guide to enhance participants' experience.

As a new addition, the 2023 program will introduce an alumni program, providing participants with ongoing opportunities for connection and engagement after the 12-week program concludes.
