Event Details

The 3rd Annual Land-linked Zambia (LLZ) Conference and Exhibition scheduled to take place in Lusaka Province, Zambia on 4thh and 5th April 2024.

The theme for this year's conference is "Connecting Zambia and SADC by land to facilitate trade, investments and ease of movement of goods and people", a call to action for SADC Member Countries, in the advent of the African Continental Free Trade Area Agreement (AfCFTA), to explore transport Corridors and business partnerships within and beyond Zambia for seamless movements of goods and services. Zambia complements regional development plans as the strategic link of the corridor network in SADC and COMESA thereby using its land-linked status to facilitate trade and serve its neighbours.

Zambian Minister of Transport & Logistics Hon. Frank Tayali, MP will welcome over twelve SADC transport ministers to discuss transport corridors, road and rail linkages, trade and the impact of the transport sector on the climate.

The LLZ 2024 provides a strategic forum and definitive platform to exchange views and discuss the issues pertinent to the progress and development of Zambia's and SADC's transport sector. We are looking forward to use the LLZ to explain and implement our vision to reenergize the transport sector based on the 8th National Development Plan as well as enhancing the participation of Zambian businesses in the transport & logistics supply chain.

We look forward to your participation and welcoming you to the LLZ 2024.
