Danny Games Director, Business & Economic Development of Entergy Arkansas Danny Games is the Director of Business & Economic Development for Entergy Arkansas. Based in Little Rock, Entergy’s team of economic development professionals focuses on assisting the state and local communities in becoming more competitive for attracting new businesses and supporting existing businesses throughout the Entergy Arkansas service territory. Games came to Entergy from the Arkansas Economic Development Commission (AEDC) where he served as the Executive Vice President of Global Business under Governor Asa Hutchinson. He directed the Business Development, Business Finance, Community Development, Existing Business, Military Affairs, and Women & Minority Business divisions at the AEDC. Games has almost 20 years of economic development experience at state and local levels, including management positions with BHP, Chesapeake Energy, AEDC and Entergy Arkansas. He holds a Master of Science degree in Economic Development from the University of Southern Mississippi and earned his Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) certification from the International Economic Development Council and Economic Development Finance Professional (EDFP) certification from the National Development Council. Games currently serves as a board member for Goodwill Industries of Arkansas and as a judge for Arkansas Business’ Trendsetter City Awards.
Jack Thomas Vice President, Economic Development at Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce Jack Thomas is Vice President of Economic Development at the Little Rock Regional Chamber. In this role, Jack leads a team of economic development professionals tasked with Business Attraction, Business Retention and Expansion, Small Business Development, Diversity Initiatives, and Workforce Development. Jack manages key relationships with company executives, site selection consultants, city and county officials, state agencies, utility providers, and economic development partners including the Port of Little Rock and Clinton National Airport. Jack also leads the Metro Little Rock Alliance (MLRA), a twelve-county economic development organization marketing Central Arkansas. 2023 featured eleven project wins for Central Arkansas, totaling 2,302 new jobs, $131 million in new payroll, and over $387 million in new capital investment. Prior to joining the Chamber, Jack served as Senior Project Manager at the Arkansas Economic Development Commission (AEDC). In this role, Jack worked to recruit new business to Arkansas and helped prepare communities to take advantage of economic development opportunities. During his time at AEDC, Jack worked successful site location or expansion projects with companies such as Drax, Hostess, Majestic Steel, Nucor, Pit Boss Grills (Dansons), Riceland, Sig Sauer, United States Steel, WestRock, and Weyerhaeuser. In total, Jack worked with companies that created 3193 jobs and invested $3.76 billion across 33 Arkansas communities. Jack is a summa cum laude graduate of Harding University, where he was named the Paul R. Carter College of Business Student of the Year in 2018. Thomas is a graduate of Harding’s Graduate School of Business, earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in 2019. Jack is a 2022 graduate of the University of Oklahoma Economic Development Institute (EDI) and is a Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) through the International Economic Development Council. Jack is involved in a variety of community initiatives, volunteering with the Miracle League, Make-a-Wish, and Ronald McDonald House of Arkansas. He is a Lifetime Sportsman through the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission, a member of the Arkansas Game & Fish Foundation, Arkansas Outdoor Society, Arkansas Forestry Association, recipient of the 2022 Arkansas Tree Farm of the Year, and serves on the board of the Arkansas Economic Developers and Chamber Executives (AEDCE). In 2023, he was voted Arkansas State Director on the board of the Southern Economic Development Council, North America’s oldest and largest regional economic development association. Jack and his wife Hailey attend the West Little Rock campus of New Life Church.
Katherine Holmstrom, PCED Existing Business Project Manager at Entergy Arkansas Katherine Holmstrom joined Entergy’s Business and Economic Development Team in September of 2021 as the Existing Business Project Manager. In this role, she focuses on facilitating the growth of existing customers, project coordination and external affairs. Before coming to EAL, Katherine spent 10 years with the Arkansas Economic Development Commission, the last five years as Senior Project Manager, where she was responsible for facilitating the growth of both new and expanding companies in Arkansas, including recruitment and expansion projects. She has worked with companies such as Amazon, Lockheed Martin, Carvana, Tyson, Walmart, Mars Petcare, Aerojet Rocketdyne, SAF Holland and Nice-Pak to help them expand or locate within the state. Katherine has 16 years of community and economic development experience in Arkansas. Prior to joining AEDC in 2011, Katherine worked for U.S. Congressman Marion Berry in several different roles, including constituent services, appropriations management, community development and intergovernmental affairs. A native of DeWitt, Arkansas, she holds a bachelor of science degree in Journalism with an emphasis in Public Relations and a minor in Ag Business from Arkansas State University. She is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma’s Economic Development Institute, the University of Central Arkansas’s Community Development Institute and the Delta Regional Authority’s Delta Leadership Institute. She currently serves on the War Memorial Stadium Commission where she was appointed by Governor Asa Hutchinson. In 2020, she was president of the board of directors of Arkansas Economic Developers and Chamber Executives (AEDCE), the professional association for economic developers and chamber of commerce professionals. In 2021, Katherine was named a "40 Under 40" by Arkansas Business and received the Economic Developer of the Year Award by the Arkansas Economic Developers and Chamber Executives. That same year, she also received an Emerging Young Alumni Award by Arkansas State University. Katherine and her husband, Gabe, live in downtown Little Rock with their son, Gus, and dog, Rex Thunder.

Mike Rogers Chief Workforce Officer at The office of Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders Mike Rogers is the Chief Workforce Officer for Arkansas. He chairs the governor’s workforce cabinet, which consists of the departments of commerce, corrections, education, human services, labor and licensing transitioning and shared services, and veteran affairs. Formerly, he was the senior director of maintenance and refrigeration for Tyson Foods, INC. Prior to Tyson Foods, he taught agriculture and industrial maintenance at Siloam Springs High School for 20 years. He was the energy manager for the Siloam Springs School District for 16 years. Mike received his bachelors of science degree in agriculture from the University of Arkansas and minored in agriculture mechanics and poultry science. In 1997, Mike completed his master’s degree in education. Through high school, college and the first five years of teaching, Mike was employed full-time at Frez-N-Stor in industrial maintenance and anhydrous ammonia. During his 20-year career at Frez-N-Stor, he took refrigeration apprenticeship classes through the Refrigerating Engineers & Technicians Association, received a universal HVAC/R license and boiler operator’s certifications. Mike holds six additional teaching licenses with the Arkansas Department of Education, including: a technical permit for post-secondary instruction, HVAC, advanced manufacturing, industrial equipment maintenance, machine tool technology and welding. Mike is an NCCER Master Trainer and holds three journey level certificates. His time in industry and education afforded him the opportunity to acquire numerous industrial skills. Mike and Sandra have been married for 28 years and have five children, from ages 25 to 18. He enjoys working on his farm and being with his family. He has been a bi-vocational pastor since 2008. Mike’s goal is to positively influence people and help support youth, technical education and training.
Andrew Parker Director of Governmental Affairs | Executive Director, Be Pro Be Proud at Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce/AIA Andrew Parker is a director of governmental affairs for the Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce/Associated Industries of Arkansas, the leading voice on promoting and advocating for a constructive business climate for Arkansas businesses. In 2015, Andrew became the executive director of the Associated Industries of Arkansas Foundation and founder of Be Pro Be Proud – a state and nationwide grassroots effort designed to address the skills gap by changing the narrative about high-wage, high-demand skilled professions in Arkansas’ manufacturing, construction, transportation and utility industry sectors. This effort has taken its place on the national stage and now operates in a growing number of states across the U.S. He now also leads Be Pro Be Proud, Inc., the newly created national entity overseeing all efforts nationwide. Before joining the State Chamber/AIA, Andrew served as Regulatory Counsel at the Arkansas Oil and Gas Commission and spent more than 10 years working directly with Governor Mike Beebe, from the time he was Senate President through his first term as governor of Arkansas. In 2021, Andrew completed a 7-year term on the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, spending much of his term focusing on tailwater fisheries management and new funding for the state’s significant natural resource infrastructure needs. Parker received a law degree from the UALR Bowen School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Arkansas State University. Parker sits on the Quapaw Council Executive Board of the Boy Scouts of America and is actively involved with other community and professional organizations. He is married with one son.

She currently serves as Chair of the Community Development Council, Ex Officio (previously served as Vice President of Membership and as Vice President of Technology) for the Arkansas Community Development Society Board, co-chair of the Delta Population Health Institute Advisory Board, and is a member of Arkansas Economic Developers and Chamber Executives. Shelby is a regular Arkansas Municipal League City & Town contributor and former Conway Historic District Commissioner. She has also completed the Mid-South Basic Economic Development Course. Corey Parks Chief Economic Development Officer at Conway Development Corporation Corey Parks is the Chief Economic Development Officer for the Conway Area Chamber of Commerce and Conway Development Corporation. He manages the organizations' community and economic development efforts and oversees talent and workforce development initiatives. Corey earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Insurance & Risk Management and Master of Business Administration from the University of Central Arkansas. Clint O'Neal, CEcD Executive Director of Arkansas Economic Development Commission Clint O’Neal is the Executive Director of the Arkansas Economic Development Commission. Clint has 16 years of economic development experience and is passionate about making a difference by helping communities win economic development projects and helping companies to be successful in Arkansas. Clint started his economic development career in 2007 as a Project Manager at AEDC. He served as the Vice President of Business Recruitment for the Missouri Partnership starting in 2011 before moving back to his home state in 2018 to be the Deputy Director of Global Business at AEDC. Clint was named Executive Director by Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders in January 2023. He serves as a member of the board of directors for the Arkansas Economic Developers & Chamber Executives, the Arkansas Economic Development Foundation, the Arkansas Institute for Performance Excellence, and the Arkansas Workforce Development Board. He also serves as Governor Sanders’ Designee to the Delta Regional Authority. Clint is a graduate of the Economic Development Institute at the University of Oklahoma and is a Certified Economic Developer through the International Economic Development Council. He holds a Masters degree in Community and Economic Development from the University of Central Arkansas. Clint and his wife, Heather, live in Conway with their four children: Chloe, Ellie, Ava, and Caleb.

Charles brings a strong background of economic research and entrepreneurship to his work with communities, which helps him build successful strategies for communities looking to attract new businesses, restaurants, and developers as well as revitalize their downtown districts. The Texas native earned his MBA from Mississippi State University and is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and Main Street America. Jim Fram Consultant & Economic Development Leader at Community Growth Strategies, LLC Jim Fram is a Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) through the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) and a Certified Chamber Executive (CCE) through the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE) with 30+ years of successful economic development and senior-level chamber of commerce management experience in Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, and Missouri. Jim led two economic development organizations to accreditation by the International Economic Development Council (Tulsa, OK, and Hot Springs, AR). He also led three Chambers of Commerce to Five Star Accreditation by the U. S. Chamber of Commerce (Lincoln, NE, Tulsa, OK, Hot Springs, AR). He has served on the faculty at the Heartland Basic Economic Development Course and the Mid-South Basic Economic Development Course. He is a past Chairman of the Oklahoma Governor’s Economic Development Team (2007). He is an Honorary Life Member of the Southern Economic Development Council (SEDC) and a Fellow Member (FM) of the International Economic Development Council (IEDC). He is also a frequent instructor, moderator, and guest speaker at numerous economic development and Chamber of Commerce organizations, conferences, and events across the country. Sam Walls III CEO of Arkansas Capital Corp. Sam Walls, III has been with Arkansas Capital Corporation for more than 21 years and was named CEO in January 2022. A 1996 graduate of Bowen Law School in Little Rock, Arkansas, Mr. Walls has helped Arkansas Capital Corporation deploy almost $2 billion in capital through small business lending and project finance. Arkansas Capital Corporation was formed in 1957 and is a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI). Arkansas Capital is one of the oldest economic development entities in the state of Arkansas and now serves not only Arkansas but Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Tennessee, Mississippi and Louisiana. In this role, Ms. Meador created a new SBA Lending platform for SBA 7(a), SBA Express, and SBA 504 loans. In a short period of time, FSB has been ranked as the top 5 SBA lender in the State of Arkansas. Based in Searcy, AR, First Security bank is privately held and can meet any financing need with 78 locations in AR and over $7 billion in assets. Ms. Meador is proud to be leading the efforts for future growth by handling all aspects of loan origination, processing, servicing, and liquidation of SBA loans for First Security Bank. Itzel has more than 22 years of experience assisting businesses across Arkansas with small business lending. She began her career at Arkansas Capital Corporation, an Arkansas nonprofit lending company that specializes in government guaranteed lending. In 2015, Region's bank approached her to become an SBA specialist for Arkansas, and this opportunity allowed her to become the top SBA producer for several years. In 2019, Ms. Meador broadened her knowledge by pursuing an opening as the SBA Regional Manager for Simmons Bank. In this role, she managed the origination and closing process across a six-state footprint. Over the years, Itzel Meador has seen several small business applicants with good plans, drive and determination but could not meet normal banking requirements for commercial loans due to risk of the business, lack of collateral, start of nature or seasonality of the business. To overcome this problem and to provide a financial tool to help foster entrepreneurial growth in Arkansas, Ms. Meador became a strong proponent of utilizing Small Business Administration Guaranty Programs, as well as the SBA 504 program. Her determination to help small business owners over the past 20 years has led to more than $500 million dollars of financial assistance by using SBA loan products.
Jon Chadwell, CEcD Director of Economic Development at Newport Economic Development Commission As Executive Director for the Newport Economic Development Commission, Jon Chadwell is actively involved in helping develop a rural Arkansas community. Through trial and error (plenty of errors) Jon has learned some things that work well and many that don’t. His personal goal is to keep in mind that the end result of developing any community is to improve the quality of life for the people who live there. Jon received his bachelor’s degree from Harding University in 1985. In 1997 he graduated from Community Development Institute at the University of Central Arkansas. His Master of Divinities degree was completed in 1999 from Harding Graduate School of Religion. Jon is a graduate of LeadAR Class 10. In 2003, he became a Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) through the International Economic Development Council. Additional experience comes from Jon’s diverse job background. He has worked in a number of different economic development settings. A grant-writing job required that he lead 18 grassroots community groups through a comprehensive strategic planning process, which allowed the community to receive a major grant. Jon has also worked as a Main Street director, a Chamber Director, facilitator of three adult leadership programs and facilitator of a youth leadership program. The Newport Economic Development Commission is the third economic development group he has guided. Jon is married to Sheridan Chadwell and together they also own a small business in Newport, Purdy’s Flowers and Gifts. He has two children, Calli Chadwell, an independent insurance agent, and Jordan Chadwell, a computer specialist for Bass Pro Stores.

Bentley Story Sr. Project Manager at Entergy Arkansas Bentley Story is a Senior Project Manager on the Business & Economic Development Team at Entergy Arkansas. A native of Forrest City, Arkansas, Bentley started his career in economic development in 2007 at the Arkansas Economic Development Commission as a project manager and was promoted to the director of the business development division in 2012. Prior to 2007, Bentley worked as a budget analyst with the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration and worked in Tyson Foods’ Corporate Strategy Division. Bentley is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma’s Economic Development Institute and is a Certified Economic Developer. Bentley has served as a member of the Arkansas Economic Developers Board and the Baptist Health Foundation Associate Board. He has been a frequent volunteer for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure and has served as a judge for the Governor’s Cup Business Plan Competition. Bentley is a graduate of the Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration.
