The 2024 Small Town & Rural Development Conference is April 29 - May 1, 2024 at Crystal Mountain! We will begin Monday afternoon with the Consumers Energy Put Your Town on the Map pitch competition, continue all day on Tuesday and conclude on Wednesday at 12:30pm.

Over the past 18 years, we have brought together those working to strengthen rural and small towns across the state. From downtown revitalization to housing, this is the premier statewide conference for those working in rural communities. The goal of this event is to inspire and equip practitioners and advocates with the community economic development strategies needed to advocate for their communities, and build a prosperous and equitable rural Michigan for all.
