Martin Coetzee, BIuris LLB, is an advocate of the High Court of South Africa. After
almost 31 years as, amongst others, a parliamentary legal draftsman for the National Department of Justice and CEO of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission,
he started his own independent legal consulting business.

He is an independent and seasoned legal consultant with excellent written, verbal, communication and interpersonal skills. He is also an experienced negotiator able to deal with complex problems and pressure.

His areas of specialisation are administrative and mining law, property law, legal and contractual drafting and interpretation, legal advice and opinions, policy formulation and disciplinary procedures. For the last 17 years, he has also acted as Chairperson of the Cape Town and Saldanha Bay Valuation Appeal Boards. His senior managerial skills and a thorough knowledge of management of people in a diverse society add to the expertise he has to offer.

His objective is to provide professional legal assistance with a personal touch based on the belief that quality, speedy and effective service delivery is paramount. He strives to be proactive to the changing needs and demands of those he deals with and to serve them accordingly.

Erwin Rode is a

• Property economist and consultant
• Professional property valuer
• Publisher and editor-in-chief of a portfolio of property research publications.

Over the past four decades he has done pioneering research on the SA property market, and in 1987 he founded the national property research firm Rode & Associates.

He holds a BA and MBA from the University of Stellenbosch.

Erwin is a fellow of the SA Institute of Valuers (FSAIV) as well as an eminent fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS).
