The USBC will host our 2024 Virtual Matchmaking Sessions on June 12th from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. ET and June 13th from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. We are extending an invitation to you to join us for new business and contracting opportunities with corporate and government agency buyers. Each meeting will be 15 minutes in length with a five (5) minute - ten (10) minute break between meetings. We have partnered with Eventdex, a leading matchmaking and meetings platform, to help in planning and scheduling those meetings.
This Experience Enables Participants to:
- Meet with corporate and government partners aligned to available contract opportunities
- Have scheduled, one-on-one virtual room meetings
- Attend four (3) pre-scheduled webinars to prepare to put your best foot forward
Criteria for Sellers:
If your business is at a minimum of 3 years old, earns at least $100,000 in annual revenue, has a website, and meets the industry requirements from the potential buyers, you may have an opportunity to be selected for this experience. Corporate and government agency suppliers selected by USBC will have the opportunity to hear "pitches" and interview Black businesses over a two-day period during this special event.
You will be using the Eventdex platform. On the Eventdex platform, you will be able to set your schedule so that buyers can see your meeting availability. Buyers can schedule meetings automatically in those open time slots so it's imperative that you block times you are unavailable. Please note: The matchmaking meetings are one-on-one appointments. The 15-minute appointments will consist of one (1) buyer (government agency personnel or a representative of a corporate prime business) and one (1) seller.
