With over three decades of experience in administration, database management, and society administration, Joey’s expertise spans various industries.

During her 12-year tenure in the Health Care Industry, Joey recognised a crucial need for empowering healthcare professionals in managing their private practices. This realisation fueled her commitment to education and empowerment within the sector.

Known affectionately as the ‘make-it-happen girl,’ Joey is unwavering in her dedication to seeing tasks through to completion. Beyond her professional endeavors, she is deeply committed to nurturing dreams and empowering individuals to achieve their aspirations.

Joey’s commitment to environmental stewardship is evident through her involvement in greening and sustainability projects. She is dedicated to implementing eco-friendly practices within event management, ensuring that Take Note Events prioritises sustainability without compromising on excellence.

Joey’s multifaceted talents extend beyond event management, as she holds Diplomas in both Interior Design and Event Management. These credentials further enrich her ability to create unforgettable experiences that captivate and inspire.

Alongside her professional pursuits, Joey finds solace and fulfillment in music, particularly through her alter ego, Jojo the Jazzy Singer. Her performances exude charm, pizzazz, and an unmistakable passion for music.

Outside of work, Joey is a devoted mother to her adult son and daughter. She embraces an active lifestyle, finding joy in the ocean, reading, hiking, yoga, and embracing life’s adventures to the fullest.

Tasneem’s professional journey began when she graduated as an occupational therapist from the University of Cape Town in 2002. Through the years she has worked in a variety of settings from mental health, spinal cord injury, neuro rehabilitation, to special education. However, it was in mental health that she found her sense of purpose. She is currently practicing as an Occupational Therapist in private practice and strives to be a neurodiversity ally, providing education and awareness, support, therapy and coaching, to adults and teens who struggle with executive functioning and sensory regulation, with a special interest in ADHD. She is also a founding Director of the NPC, Jozi4Autism.

In addition to her work as an occupational therapist and coach, Tasneem is also the founder of the Private Practice Growth Club - a community-building, education and empowerment initiative, for South African health professionals in private practice. As the saying goes: “you can’t pour from an empty cup”, so Tasneem is passionate about helping South African health professionals develop the mindset and business skills needed to minimize the struggle and overwhelm of trying to grow a profitable private practice, whilst still making a positive impact on the wellness of others. She is an avid advocate for her profession and was appointed as the chairperson of the newly formed Private Practice Committee of the Occupational Therapy Association of South Africa from 2021 to 2023.

Tasneem is also a 2023 recipient of the globally recognized Woman of Wonder Awards in recognition of her contribution to the health and wellness industry.

Peter is a former medical Rhodes Scholar to Oxford University, former Groote Schuur Hospital Chief Specialist, UCT Professor of Anatomical Pathology, and UCT GSB MBA Gold Medallist.
He is a very experienced hospital CEO, CMO, and commercial manager of multi-site hospitals, clinics and medical laboratories. Peter is moreover a commercial company doctor and turnaround specialist, capable of inspiring and leading rapid financial turnarounds of underperforming hospitals and healthcare assets. His specialty is rapid performance enhancement Focused on producing strongly positive EBITDA in excess of 20% by marketing-driven top-line revenue growth, he combines hands on leadership with surgically precise cost-cutting, lean methodology, productivity and efficiency gains. He rigorously uses data, dashboards, MIS, ICT and technology rather than employing more people to improve company performance.
As a UK-trained Specialist Histopathologist with an MBA and over thirty years of practical clinical and business management experience, Peter’s career has successfully combined clinical service with senior hospital, departmental and transformational business team leadership positions. He has led or worked in complex multi-site healthcare institutions in both the public and private sectors in five countries. These have included simultaneous start-ups of multiple polyclinics; Greenfield new hospital builds and commissioning as well as managing large multi-site and multi-country healthcare organisations.

Raymond Meneses has a deep theoretical and practical understanding of all facets of employment law, backed up by a quarter of a century of experience in that field. He is a skilled litigator of employment disputes, and a seasoned negotiator in resolving such disputes. Being solution-driven, Raymond always seeks the most cost-effective and expeditious resolution to any employment challenge or conflict.
With many years’ experience as a specialist litigator in the CCMA, Bargaining Councils and Labour Courts, as well as being the executive responsible for employee relations for Mass Discounters (Game and Dion Stores) throughout the African region, Raymond brings both specialist legal expertise and practical coalface experience to the table.
