The German Federal Government has expanded its advisory services for Export Credit Guarantees. They have established Competence Centres for Export Credit Guarantees in Dubai, Nairobi and in Singapore within the existing offices of the German Chambers Abroad (AHK).

Export Credit Guarantees have been an effective instrument of the Federal Government for decades. The Export Credit Guarantees ("Hermes Cover") protect German exporters and the banks financing their activities against political and commercial risks. This promotion instrument plays an important role in fostering economic growth as well as protecting and creating jobs.
