Inke founded Inke Maris & Associates in 1986 and has provided strategic communications counsel to numerous clients, with particular focus on public service projects conducted by various Government departments, including the Ministry of Social Affairs, the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Tourism and Culture and the Ministry of Public Works and currently the Ministry of Development Planning.

She has also managed financial communications for initial public offerings of the largest stateowned companies in Indonesia, i.e. Telcom, Aneka Tambang mining company and the number one state owned bank in Indonesia, Bank Mandiri. Her clients to date include the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and Indonesia's largest privately owned Bank BCA.

Inke was appointed to an expert staff position in the office of the Coordinating Minister for Economics in 2001, and in the office of the Minister of Women Empowerment in 2004. She also played a major role in managing of the Presidential Candidates' Yudhoyono – Jusuf Kalla Media Centre during the first direct presidential elections in 2004.

Inke is highly regarded as one of Indonesia’s leading veteran journalists. She worked at the BBC Overseas Services in Bush House London and was Anchor woman and Reporter for the national network Televisi Republik Indonesia.

Her childhood dream is to be a teacher and it led her to become a highly regarded professional in Education in the field of Public Relations and Communications. 28 years ago she established & became the Founder & Director of her own Institute offering courses in Public Relations and that Institute grew and has been updagraded to a College of Communication and became The London School of Public Relations, Graduate School of Communication. Prita got her degree in PR from The London City College of Management and took Master’s in Business Administration from The International Academy of Management & Economics, Manila Philippines

Her keen passion in PR, has led her to hold the position as the only female Chairperson of PERHUMAS from 2011 to 2014 (Perhimpunan Hubungan Masyarakat / Indonesian Public Relations Association). She is also the President of ASEAN PR Network which was established last June 2014. She gained the title as one of Indonesia’s PR Expert and is currently running a weekly radio program at 105.8 Lite FM “PR Corner”

As Owner and Chief Executive Officer of the Sintesa Group (www.sintesagroup.com), Shinta is responsible for the Management and Expansion of the Group’s business interests in Indonesia. The Sintesa Group is an Indonesian group with 16 subsidiaries, which operate in the Property, Energy, Industrial Products, and Consumer Products.

As a businesswoman, Shinta also involves in numerous business and social activities, including as the Vice Chairwoman of Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN Indonesia) and Employers’ Association of Indonesia (APINDO), Executive Board of International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), President of Indonesia Business Council for Sustainable Development (IBCSD), as well as founder of Indonesia Business Coalition for Women Empowerment (IBCWE) and Angel Investment Network Indonesia (ANGIN), and the Member of APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC) Indonesia. She is also has chosen by the United Nations as one of 30 global corporate leader to join the Global Investors for Sustainable Development (GISD Alliance).

Shinta graduated from Barnard College of Columbia University New York in 1989 and Executive Education at Harvard Business School, Boston, Massachusetts, USA in 2002.
As part of her achievement, she received awards amongst others from FORBES Asia’s 50 Powerful Businesswomen (2012, 2013, & 2016), 30 Best CEOs by Business Indonesia Award in 2015, in 2017, she was decorated as the Commander of the Polar Star by the King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden and the Commander of the Order of Leopold of Belgium. And in 2019, she was awarded as Woman Entrepreneur of the Year at the Asia Corporate Excellence & Sustainability Award (ACES Award)
