In light of the Asia-Pacific free trade agreements, such as the commonly known ASEAN-Australia-New Zealand free trade agreement ("AANZFTA") and Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) agreement, therein lies the risk of "spaghetti bowl effect" in terms of the bilateral or even multilateral trade and investment agreements.

Hence, this webinar aims to provide a simple but thorough understanding of the said trade agreements, shedding light specifically on Malaysia, Australia and New Zealand with the collaboration of Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC), Malaysia Australia Business Council (MABC) and Malaysia New Zealand Chamber of Commerce (MNZCC). Meanwhile, the use of arbitration — a widely accepted means of dispute resolution – is emerging as a necessary avenue for businesses to resolve their issues amicably without going to court and with a global enforcement mechanism.
