Welcome to the CSA APAC Congress Registration Page!
With the rise of cloud computing and innovation from the Asia Pacific (APAC) region, we are witnessing a boom in technology businesses in APAC. In the past 2 years, we have also witnessed several Asian technology companies successfully listing their stocks on the New York Stock Exchange and NASDAQ with record-breaking initial public offerings. The rate of technology innovation and revenue generated from APAC-led innovation are also raising at a rate other regions around the world can only look with envy. Indeed, Asia Pacific is starting to show its leadership not just in innovation, market dominance, but also an increased control of the future.
As with this growth, the Cloud Security Alliance Asia Pacific (CSA APAC) is delighted to announce the 2015 CSA APAC Congress held on 2 and 3 December 2015 at Guangzhou, China. CSA international Working Group meetings, CCSK trainings and the CSA Corporate Members Forum will be held on 1 December, 2015.
Following the success and tradition of previous CSA APAC Congress renditions, this year’s APAC Congress is the premium event for compelling presentations and interesting discussions about research, development, practice and trends related to cloud security. Attendees represent end-user, research and industry viewpoints, and there are plenty of networking and business opportunities throughout the event.

CSA APAC Congress Pre-Conference Working Group Session
9:00 AM - 10:00 AMCSA Mobile Application Security Testing (MAST) Project Meeting
Launch of MAST Whitepaper for Peer-review Mobile applications have not only become indispensable to modern life, but have also been part of all organizations. With the emergence of cloud computing technology, organizational reinforcement is needed to adapt to the massive change. Cloud computing enables real-time use of applications, by which it offers enterprise the enormous flexibility. Accompanied by the convenience; with the inclusion of applications, security problems result from the lack of transparency and present challenges to risk management.
The goal of the project strives to create a more secured cloud ecosystem to protect mobile applications. Engineering methods are established by system protection and applied to structure, design testing, and review of applications. These assist in integrations and introduce security, quality control, and compliable evidence in mobile application development and management.
The project wishes to conduct more research in mobile application security vetting; the efforts help organizations and individuals reduce the possible risk exposures and security threat in using mobile applications.
10:00 AM - 11:00 AMCSA Virtualisation Working Group Meeting
Virtualization is a critical part of cloud computing. Virtualization provides an important layer of abstraction from physical hardware, enabling the elasticity and resource pooling commonly associated with cloud. Virtualized operating systems are the backbone of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS). The CSA Security Guidance for Critical Areas of Focus in Cloud Computing focused exclusively on virtualized operating systems in Domain 13. Recent developments in software defined networking (SDN) show great potential to virtualize data networks in the same way that operating systems have been virtualized. Additionally, the future integration and potential convergence of virtualization of operating systems and networks promise to greatly impact the next generation of cloud architectures. The security issues and recommended best practices of this broader view of virtualization merit additional focused research from a reconstituted version of the CSA Virtualization Working Group.
