Blair Durham:
Shakiya "Keya" Steward is the owner of Keya Speaks, a coaching and consulting business. Keya provides coaching and consulting for a variety of disciplines, to include relationships, career, business and spiritual growth. She has used her creativity to develop and design websites, strategic plans, and restructure organizations for high level effectiveness. During the pandemic she has learned how to graphically design flyers and other marketing materials to add to her toolkit.

Keya also serves as the Program Director for Communities In Schools of Hampton Roads where she provides support in leadership, training, public speaking, community outreach and grant writing. She currently leads a team of 21 school-based site coordinators in 20 schools and 6 school districts.

Within her local community Keya volunteers and has served on nonprofit boards. She has been a featured panelist on several virtual events regarding racism and social bias as well as trauma in schools. Opportunities have been provided where she has been featured on local news stations and interviewed for newspaper articles to provide insight into students, mental health, education as well as race relations.

Educationally, she has attained a BA of Psychology from Ashford University, a MA of Human Services Counseling and a MA of Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University.

As a proud single mother of 22-year-old Azhante and 15-year-old Nassir she knows that they are her greatest accomplishments. She considers it an honor to be their mom regardless of the headaches and trials that they face together. Keya loves God, His Word, His people and has a strong desire to see the will of God lived out in her life and all those that she meets.
