The current wave of Covid-19 continues to create serious impacts on Thailand and has led to business and work disruption such as work-from-home operations, pay cuts, and layoffs, as well as temporary and permanent business closures. Employers, executives and HR professionals need to take drastic actions, especially in their policies of employment, compensation and benefits to overcome the challenges.

Join us in this webinar initiated by GTCC HR Committee to get yourself updated and practical guides on important HR issues. Our speaker and moderator will share with you their expertise and advice which will cover the following topics:

• Practices on wage adjustments such as "No Work, No Pay", short-term payment and postponed payment.
• Practices based on work-from-home and staff relocation. Can an employer force the relocation of employees?
• Employer's medical liability and employee's paid sick leave in case of Covid-19.
• Requirement on an employee's vaccinations. Can an employer demand an employee to get fully vaccinated and terminate the employee without severance pay if she/he refuses to be vaccinated, possibly is infected and shows up at work?
• Social Security Office (SSO) measures for terminated employees and those of volunteer resignations.
• What to consider in case of temporary / permanent business closures. Whether or not is the force majeure relevant and can be applied?
• Examples / cases of disputes due to employment terminaton.
