This presentation aims to deepen the attendees' understanding and skills in treating pediatric patients. Participants will learn about the unique physiological differences between children and adults, how these differences impact chiropractic care, and the latest research supporting the safety and efficacy of pediatric adjusting techniques.

Born in Milwaukee, WI, raised in Atlanta, GA, and having spent some time in Tampa, FL, my journey has brought me from the world of broadcast journalism to being a dedicated chiropractor. I attended Florida A&M University, the best HBCU in the country, where I pivoted from journalism to biology just before my senior year. This switch was followed by an introduction to chiropractic through a Life University recruiter, igniting a spark that resonated with my own personal philosophy.

I graduated second in my class in 2014, with a degree in Molecular & Cellular Biology. Riding this wave of momentum, I entered Life University for chiropractic school and graduated with honors in 2018. Unlike many of my colleagues, my relationship with chiropractic was relatively new—I hadn’t even been adjusted before my first class at Life University. What captivated me was the philosophy that underpins chiropractic: our bodies are incredibly intelligent; healing and maintaining themselves optimally when functioning properly. As a chiropractor, my goal is to help remove the blocks that hinder this optimal functioning.

Currently, I am an active member of the American Black Chiropractic Association (ABCA), having served as Secretary and Communications Chairperson on the executive board. I also belong to the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and the Georgia Chiropractic Association. I hold a certification in Webster's Technique, specializing in the care of pregnant women.

Beyond my professional life, I'm an ardent lover of poetry nights, live music, dancing to funky tunes, and uncovering hidden gem restaurants. My weekends are often spent enjoying brunch with friends, attending street festivals, concerts, or simply soaking in the vibrancy of the city.

This class will introduce innovative and advanced approaches in teaching about the power of chiropractic care and effectiveness to the musculoskeletal and neurological systems with routine treatment. All too often chiropractors treat and specialize in pain patterns and dysfunctional disorders so that their patient can reach their optimal pain free goals to get released from care. But what about their overall wellness after they’ve reached their optimal pain free goals? Dr. Harris will help provide an understanding of the importance or routine wellness and its overall effectiveness with routine chiropractic treatment.

Dr. Shenee Harris

Dr. Harris is a graduate of University of Western States and board certified chiropractic physician. She is originally from Houston, TX but moved to Portland, OR two weeks after experiencing Hurricane Harvey in September 2017.

Dr. Harris received her Bachelor’s in Arts and Sciences from The Prairie View A&M University in December 2015. It was there where she was introduced into chiropractic care and its natural ability to heal the body. One day while stopped at a red light she was in a rear-end collision and experienced whiplash for the first time.

She saw a chiropractor for about 3-4 months and made a full recovery with no medication or steroid shots. She was able to lift her arms above her head again, turn her head from side to side again, drive with comfort, and was able to get back to her normal activities of daily living PAIN FREE! It was at that moment that she knew she wanted to become a chiropractor.

Outside of work Dr. Harris loves spending time with her husband and bonus-son. They love traveling, going to video arcade games, and spending sunny days at the pool. Her family also loves getting chiropractic adjustments to keep up with their wellness routine.

Dr. Anish Bajaj is a 2000 graduate of Life University in Atlanta, Georgia. He is the owner of Bajaj Chiropractic in New York City and Well Rooted Health in Westfield New Jersey. Dr. Bajaj serves as the Vice President of the New York Chiropractic Council and was the 2022 recipient of their Chiropractor of the Year “Beacon” award. His research in the areas of chiropractic, subluxation, cognitive decline, bone metabolism and addiction science have been published in peer reviewed journals. As a member of the Foot Levelers Speaker’s Bureau, he travels extensively, sharing his chiropractic knowledge and expertise with audiences around the country. As a clinician Dr. Bajaj specializes in Sacro-Occiptal-Technique, Chiropractic Craniopathy, Soft Tissue Orthopedics, Sports Chiropractic, Extremity Adjusting, Electro-Therapeutics and Custom Functional Foot Orthotics. He served on the Executive Board of the New York Chiropractic Council From 2008 to 2010 as the President of the Manhattan District. He co-founded the American Decompression Pro Chiropractors which introduced the patented Neuro-Oxy Spinal Decompression Technique.

His research in the fields of electrotherapeutics and cognitive function with correlations to bone metabolism has been published in peer-reviewed journals including BMC Endocrine Disorders. He has also authored articles on integrative care, extremity adjusting/sports chiropractic, and the advancement of Chiropractic Neurology. As an Anti-Aging expert Dr. Bajaj has served as instructor for the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and has lectured around the U.S. as well as in Paris, Singapore and Beijing as a guest of the World Congress on Anti-Aging.

Dr Bajaj has also appeared on the Dr Steve Show as sleep consultant and made numerous appearance on the Tara Marie Live Radio Show to discuss this approach to fitness and sports injury recovery. Recent research and training has included establishing clinical protocols for Transcranial Photobiomodulation with Cold Laser and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation for brain injury recovery. He is currently developing a novel wellness technology platform that provides healthcare practitioners and wellness seekers guidance in intentional management of stress.

Sherry McAllister, DC, M.S. (Ed) CCSP, serves as the President for the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress, the national not-for- profit organization showcasing the benefits of chiropractic care across multiple platforms. Dr. McAllister earned her Master’s in Science from the University of California East Bay and is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic West, where she served as an Associate Professor. Appointed to Forbes Non-Profit Leadership Council. She is a frequent guest speaker for National Conventions, Corporate Wellness Programs, International Chiropractic Seminars, Health Benefit/Advisory Panels and Business and Healthcare Alliances. Dr. McAllister has served as a Qualified Medical Examiner, Expert Chiropractic Witness for the State of California, and has been in private practice in San Jose since 1996.

Dr. Bill Moreau

Chief Medical Officer at University of Western States

As the leader of medical services for the United States Olympic Committee (USOC), Dr. Bill Moreau worked with Olympic and Paralympic teams where he was responsible for the care of thousands of Team USA athletes, provided by more than 200 clinicians from numerous health care disciplines. During his tenure at USOC, Dr. Moreau served as the Team USA chief medical officer during the Rio 2016 Summer Olympic Games, and the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympic Games as well as serving as the medical director for the the London 2012 Summer Olympic Games and the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic Games. Over his more than 30-year career, he has also treated collegiate, high school and recreational athletes.

Dr. Moreau is a licensed chiropractic physician and a board-certified Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (ACBSP). He has presented more than 500 lectures and postgraduate education programs throughout the world. Dr. Moreau is currently president of the ACBSP and is a member of the Journal of Chiropractic Medicine editorial review board.
