Event Details

Annually convened with unwavering commitment, the ABCA Convention stands as the paramount chiropractic conference, steadfastly devoted to championing the representation and empowerment of BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) and minority students, practitioners, speakers, and businesses within the chiropractic community. This exceptional gathering serves as a pivotal platform for fostering inclusivity, celebrating diversity, and promoting excellence in the field of chiropractic care.

3:00 PM - 5:00 PM(2CE) Versus: Supplements and Lifestyles vs. Medications
    Location: Parker University- South 102/103

When I started as a physician-pharmacist, I believed I had all the tools to help patients improve. I soon realized I did not know much of anything and had to return to the drawing board. I realized that what I had learned about risk reduction was skewed; many patients (and other doctors) did not believe that lifestyle mattered regarding disease risk or treatment. Many patients explained to me that it was just their genetics and that they could do nothing. I didn’t accept my reality and decided on a new path to learn and share how powerful lifestyle interventions and supplements could be. This talk will go in-depth about my medical journey and outline several evidence-based lifestyle and supplement therapies I utilize today.
