'An emission-free fleet of vehicles' – that is our vision for the future. At Mercedes-Benz, our ambition is to make our fleet of new cars CO₂-neutral by 2039 and mitigate the impact on inner-city air quality. With this vision and our ambition, we are committed to climate protection and a systematic move towards sustainable personal mobility.

As part of our commitment, Mercedes-Benz Thailand launched the "Charge to Change" initiative in 2020. In its first chapter, the initiative seeks to encourage Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) users from all brands across the country to make the small positive change of charging their vehicles. With individual action comes the potential for meaningful and positive environmental change for the community, one with reduced PM 2.5 and improved long-term wellbeing for the citizens of Thailand.

About GTCC Clean Air Initiative Series - Green Solutions from Germany

The German-Thai Chamber of Commerce Clean Air Initiative (GTCC CAI) was launched in 2020 with a Clean Air Initiative working group of around 20 participating member companies. GTCC CAI Website​​​​​

Germany is home to various advanced environmental technologies. Therefore, we initiate the "GTCC Clean Air Initiative Series – Green Solutions from Germany". GTCC member companies will introduce and promote their technologies, concepts and services regarding the prevention and reduction of air pollution for the markets in Thailand and the Southeast Asia region.

With this webinar series the participating companies will also share their suggestions regarding the regulatory framework in Thailand. In general, regulatory frameworks can be an impediment for the implementation of state-of-the-art global standards or pave the way for the introduction of new technologies and modernization. Raising public awareness on the need of prevention of air pollution and the importance of policies aiming at clean air is another goal of this webinar series.
