COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Article IV, Section 10 of RA 9184 and its IRR mandates that all procurement shall be done through Competitive Bidding, except as provided for in Article XVI of this Act. Therefore, the course will cover a detailed discussion works/Consulting services via competitive bidding, in accordance with the duly prescribed edition Philippine Bidding Documents with updates.

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

• To gain knowledge on the procedures and practices on the preparation of bidding documents in accordance with the provisions of the IRR of 9184;
• To understand the objectives, scope and results of the proposed contract, the eligibility requirements of bidders expected contract duration, estimated quantity and delivery schedule or time frames; and
• To be able to apply learning on the preparation on bid documents.

The webinar is especially designed for government employees from NGAs, GOCCs/GFIs, LGUs and SUCs, particularly those assigned in the internal audit, accounting, finance, treasury, budget, asset management, general services, human resource management, corporate planning, operations systems developers, procurement, legal, etc.

Those in the private sector especially those who have contracts/transactions with government or intend to transact or do business with government are encouraged to attend this training course.
