COURSE DESCRIPTION:

A well-planned procurement project is deemed 95% to 100% successful. The course delves extensively on Procurement Planning such as but not limited on the proper preparation and timely submission of Project Procurement Management Plan (PPMP), Annual Procurement Plan APP) and Procurement Monitoring Report (PMR).


COURSE OBJECTIVES:

  • Satisfy the requirements under Rule III, Section 16 of Revised IRR of R.A.9184 – mandating the Head of the Procuring Entity (HOPE) of capacitating its newly designated BAC Members, Secretariat, TWG Members and End-User units through training seminars within Six (6) months upon designation
  • Address questions pertaining procurement process/procedures, especially during the Planning stage where the PPMP and APP are prepared
  • Enables the End-User units in the effective and proper preparation of the PPMP, thereby facilitating the timely and appropriate preparation of the APP


TARGET PARTICIPANTS:


The webinar is especially designed for government employees from NGAs, GOCCs/GFIs, LGUs and SUCs, particularly those assigned in the internal audit, accounting, finance, treasury, budget, asset management, general services, human resource management, corporate planning, operations systems developers, procurement, legal, etc.


Those in the private sector especially those who have contracts/transactions with government or intend to transact or do business with government are encouraged to attend this training course.
