We’re delighted to announce a half day workshop with leadership coach and former McKinsey partner, Thomas Barta on Thursday 8 June at the LinkedIn offices, Gurgaon from 1-7pm.
Thomas has recently launched a new book with Professor Paddy Barwise of the London Business School: The 12 Powers of a Marketing Leader. The book is based on international research among thousands of marketers, and has been highly praised from within the marketing community. Gavin Patterson, Global CEO, BT Group said the book was ''stuffed full of sound analysis, crucial career advice and fascinating case studies - this is an effortless must read for the ambitious marketer.''
In our workshop, Thomas Barta will discuss the key attributes today’s marketing leaders need to excel in our fast-changing world. The event will be relaxed and informal and will offer you the opportunity to meet other like-minded senior marketers.
This is the first time that Thomas Barta has spoken about the “Twelve Powers” in India, and we are delighted that he has found time in his busy international schedule to spend time with us. He believes strongly that although marketing is crucial to the success of all organisations, marketers are not always seen as important within their own companies, and that “doing marketing is not the same as leading marketing”
