This one-hour class focuses on how to research the law on the open web, sites to review to find primary law and what pitfalls to watch out for, as well as goes through the organizational method of tackling a legal research project from a compliance perspective while ending on a real case example. The real case example is taken step by step through the research process provoking questions like: How is "manufacturer" defined under the statute, Does the law apply to my retailer in the example? How do I determine the legal requirements that must be complied with by the retailer/company?, etc.
