About the Conference
The Credit Information Sharing Association of Kenya (CIS Kenya), in partnership with the International Committee on Credit Reporting, the International Finance Corporation (IFC), and FinRegLab, will host the 6th Africa CIS Conference themed, "Harnessing the Power of Alternative Data: Unlocking Africa's Credit Potential"on the 22nd- 24th March 2023 at Sarova Whitesands Beach Resort & Spa, Mombasa Kenya. Professionals in the financial services sector across Africa will review the state of the credit market and its potential, in line with CIS Kenya's mandate of fostering growth and best practices in credit markets (see past conferences).
Conference Structure
Over the three days, expert panels and presentations will provide an opportunity for targeted deliberations and broader debate on key credit infrastructure topics. The Conference will feature a keynote policy opening address from Kenya's Principal Secretary in The National Treasury, which is at the forefront of driving reforms to fulfill the new Government's agenda of enhancing access to credit for Micro, Medium, and Small Enterprises.
