On 22nd February 2023, National Commercial Arbitration Centre of the Kingdom of Cambodia ("NCAC") with support from the International Financial Corporation (IFC), organized a public consultation event to inform and discuss with relevant stakeholders on NCAC's Mediation Rules and Code of Conduct for Mediators.
The key element in achieving transparent and effective Mediation Rules and Code of Conduct is to organize a public consultation to seek stakeholders' views and input regarding the provisions and procedures of the draft rules and fee schedule and increase the visibility of the commercial mediation in Cambodia.
With the support of IFC, the public consultation was conducted with the involvement Representative from Ministry of Justice, Representative Ministry of Commerce, Representative of Business Association from various sectors such as construction, banking and finance, real state, automobile, factory and so on.
