    Australian Ambassador to Cambodia

    Ms Corcoran is a senior career officer with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Prior to holding her current position, Ms Corcoran was the Assistant Secretary of the Indonesia Political and Economic Strategy Branch. She previously served as Assistant Secretary, Indonesia and Timor-Leste Program Delivery Branch and Acting First Assistant Secretary, East Asia Development Division.

    William (Bill) A. Heidt

    U.S. Ambassador-Designate to Cambodia

    Ambassador William (Bill) A. Heidt was confirmed as the U.S. Ambassador-Designate to the Kingdom of Cambodia on August 5, 2015 by the U.S. Senate and sworn in on September 14, 2015. Prior to his confirmation, Ambassador Heidt served as Chief of Staff to the Under Secretary for Economic Growth, Energy, and the Environment at the Department of State. In that role, Ambassador Heidt helped shape U.S. global engagement on international economic, trade, energy, and environmental issues, including Secretarial initiatives on wildlife trafficking, ocean conservation, and economic diplomacy. Ambassador Heidt holds a Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Service and International Politics from Pennsylvania State University and a Master’s degree in International Relations from George Washington University. He is an honors graduate of the Department of State’s Economic Training Course, and speaks Polish, Cambodian, Indonesian, and German. Since arriving in Cambodia in September 2015, Ambassador Heidt has visited all 25 provinces.

    Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Cambodia

    Harry H. Horinouchi was appointed as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Cambodia in October 2016. Prior to this appointment, he served as the Consul General of Japan in Los Angeles. Mr. Horinouchi graduated from the University of Tokyo, School of Law and joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1980. He has served extensively in China and the U.S. In China, he has served as an Overseas Student, Nanjing University (1981-1983) and as First Secretary (1992- 1995), Political Minister (2004-2007) and Plenipotentiary Minister (2010–2014). Mr. Horinouchi’s academic credentials include his studies at the Graduate School of Arts & Science, Harvard University (1983-1984). He has published numerous articles and books and taught at the Graduate School of Law, Waseda University (International Law). Mr. Horinouchi was born in November 1957 and is married with two adult children, a daughter and a son, both residing in Japan.

    British Ambassador to Cambodia

    Bill Longhurst has been British Ambassador at the British Embassy in Phnom Penh since January 2014. He joined Her Majesty’s Diplomatic Service in 1990, and has served in overseas in Seoul, Tokyo, New York, and Belgrade. His first position in London was working in the FCO’s Economic Relations Department on policy issues for London G7 Summit of 1991. From 1998-2001 he worked in the Department of Trade and Industry, heading the Exports to Japan Unit. His most recent London posting, from 2011 to 2013, was as Deputy Head of ASEAN Department. Prior to joining Her Majesty’s Diplomatic Service, Bill studied Business Studies and Japanese at University of Sheffield, from which he gained a Bachelor’s Degree.
