Please join the Ada Area Chamber of Commerce in celebrating the 2018 graduating classes of Leadership YOUniversity and Leadership Ada. Participants will be recognized for their dedication to learning more about Ada, as well as improving leadership skills both personally and professionally.

Event speaker is Molly Shi Boren, Oklahoma native and First Lady of the University of Oklahoma. Molly Shi Boren graduated from East Central University in 1964 with a degree in English. She continued her education at the University of Oklahoma, earning both a master's degree in English and a law degree. After serving as a Special District Judge for Pontotoc County, she married Governor David Boren in 1977. Since 1994, President and Mrs. Boren have admirably served the University of Oklahoma, and continue to lead by example.

Molly Shi Boren is the first person to have served as both First Lady of the State of Oklahoma and the First Lady of the University of Oklahoma. She was also the first woman ever to serve on the board of trustees of the Oklahoma Bar Foundation and the the first woman elected to the Board of Directors of the Ada Chamber of Commerce.
