With the onset of the fourth industrial revolution, new intellectual property (IP) issues emerge, more adamantly calling for a change in perspective of IP, from a reactive and protectionist stance of a legal enforcement of IP rights, to a more proactive and value extraction-focused position of a strategic management of IP assets.
The workshop aims to guide participants into awareness of how their IP portfolios are currently being managed, the issues arising from this in relation to digitalization, and how they might be able to prepare better for Industry 4.0 through a value extraction-focused strategic management of IP assets, to aid their organizations in gaining appropriation advantage.

We try to explain from a non-IT prospective how this could change your business and how you can make use out of it. Buzzwords like Blockchain sound very complicated. We explain them to you in a simple way.
