TOPIC

I BLOCKCHAIN FOR ENERGY AND CLIMATE

While in its infancy, experts agree that Blockchain is a game-changer for combatting climate change, with clean energy being just one of the impact areas. Blockchain provides a tool to connect emissions reductions opportunities with capital and demand. It can break down barriers between the carbon markets and IoT. It supports enterprise climate risk mitigation. Hear from a leading Canadian authority on blockchain and climate.

II CLEAN POWER IN THAILAND

With a USD$16M dollar investment, Clean Power Asia has an ambitious mandate to scale grid-tied renewables in the region. As the donor and manager, USAID oversees the management, planning and reporting of this program. Through engaging with governments, financiers and project developers in Thailand and beyond, the agency has a privileged perspective on challenges and opportunities in advancing the clean power agenda in the region.

III TRANSPORTATION AND THAILAND'S FUTURE

Boasting a broad portfolio ranging from ingenious rail systems to advanced signaling platforms for mass transit, Bombardier is a global leader in designing and delivering innovative, energy-efficient transportation solutions. With recent wins as the railway systems integrator for the North and South Sukhumvit skytrain line extension, Bombardier Thailand has cemented its role as a key partner in Thailand's progress for energy innovation.

IV THAILAND'S CLEAN ENERGY POLICY LANDSCAPE

While recent government announcements have introduced some uncertainty into the renewable energy market, there remain several Thai policy levers that favour clean energy. From BOI incentives to the dynamic regulation around EV infrastructure, Thailand holds great promise for the next wave of clean energy innovators. Get the latest policy updates from DFDL's leading renewables expert to better chart your path to success.
