The demand forecast is a critical input to a company's planning and execution process. As an input to Sales & Operations Planning, the forecast is an important building block in creating the demand plan which becomes an input to other critical process in the value chain such production, distribution and sourcing. With this, the impact of an accurate forecast has a significant implication in the company's bottom line as it impacts cost, inventory and service.

OVERVIEW


The course introduces participants to fundamental concepts in demand forecasting and planning and its role in company operation. There will be emphasis on hands-on training as attendees will be coached in how to use techniques in forecasting ideally with the participant's company data so that it will be a direct application. There will also be emphasis on analysis particularly approaches to sense check forecast.

This 2-day training will be held on August 23, 2018 to August 24, 2018 at the PASIA training center, Philippines. If registrants reach 15, the training will be at the Marriott hotel, Philippines.



As for overseas attendees who are interested, the airfare cost to Manila is approximately $500 (economy) while hotel accommodations ranges from $150 to $200 per day (Belmont Hotel/Holiday Inn). Assistance in hotel bookings can be made upon request.
