Event Details

The Netherlands-Thai Chamber of Commerce (NTCC) in collaboration with participating chambers is delighted to invite you and your friends to join the following event: Joint Chambers Eastern Seaboard Seminar with L&P "How to reduce permanent establishment risks in Thailand and the region" with Equity Partner of German Law Firm Lorenz & Partners Co., Ltd. Mr. Till Morstadt.

Foreign companies doing business in Thailand may consider having a permanent establishment in Thailand. This has a number of consequences – first and foremost that profits generated by such permanent establishment need to be properly taxed in Thailand. Similar regulations apply to foreign companies doing business in other countries, but the details depend on local legislation and local interpretation of international tax laws.

The seminar will give an overview on how Thailand handles permanent establishments and how companies doing business here can minimize their risks resulting therefrom. Further, it will give practical guidelines for Thai-registered companies being active in other countries of the region how to minimize their exposure.
