Event Details
Join PCFR on March 5 for an in-depth discussion on the Kremlin's disinformation campaigns in Russia, Ukraine, Eastern Europe, and the global community.
For many years, the Kremlin has been using disinformation tactics to deepen animosities and conflicts in the West, while trying to promote an alternative Russian version of a peaceful world. However, since Russia's invasion of Ukraine in 2022, these disinformation campaigns have become more widespread and have infiltrated every aspect of daily life, including religion, energy, elections, national security, and literature.
This event will feature a discussion with Dr. Kristรณf Gyรถrgy Veres, a Senior Research Fellow at the Danube Institute and Visiting Research Fellow at the Center for the National Interest; Brigham McCown, a Senior Fellow at the Hudson Institute; and Mรณnika Palotai, a Senior Research Fellow at the Religious Freedom Institute, who will discuss the Kremlin's disinformation campaigns in Russia, their tactics across Ukraine and Europe, and their impact on transatlantic security.
The moderator for the program will be Alexey Gorbachev, a journalist and anchor for the TV show "Why It Matters?", produced by Voice of America.
