RIS Swiss Section-Deutschsprachige Schule Bangkok recently started its School Extension Project to meet the increasing demand for German, Swiss and Austrian education in Bangkok, implement a sustainable long-term perspective for the school, facilitate the latest innovations in education and teaching methods and improve students' learning experiences.
It is looking for partners to realise its plan to have spacious, interactive and multifunctional learning areas to meet the future needs e.g. learning atelier, media center, science, woodwork, art and music facilities as well as a sports hall in a multi activity complex.
GTCC member companies in the sectors of architecture, construction, construction materials, renewable energy, energy efficiency, elevators, cooling, lighting and related fields are invited to this meeting to discuss possible contributions to the sustainability and efficiency of the project.

RIS Swiss Section-Deutschsprachige Schule Bangkok, founded in 1963, is a certified German international school ("Exzellente deutsche Auslandsschule") and the only school in Asia offering all school levels from pre-Kindergarten to the Swiss Matura. With the bilingual Matura (German and English) its students will get access to Swiss and many other universities around the world without having to take any other exams. As of May 2019, there are 312 students, comprising 131 German, 49 Swiss and 12 Austrian students respectively.
