Co-creating Future Foresight Skills Through Story and Community: an AAIE Grove

Join us for the first season of a virtual community designed for school leaders eager to cultivate future foresight skills that will help us navigate this new era of AI in education as a collective.

Discover how futurists think and collaborate and bring those activities back to your leadership team. Over the course of several months, you'll engage with science fiction, cutting-edge research, and practical foresight strategies to prepare your school for the challenges of tomorrow, today.

The experience:

Designed with the flexibility you need, our eight-week learning journey has only three optional meetings. Our asynchronous community has weekly low-lift opportunities for connection and learning.

  • Our menu of learning options also includes different ways to access the content and activities. You might try some things on your own, apply a strategy with a friend or colleague at school, or think of scenarios with a family member during a meal or while going for a walk. There are different access points to explore and embed your practice in small acorn-size attempts.
  • Our kickoff meeting is 40 minutes and optional. You'll always have access to our recorded content.
  • This is for anyone interested in incorporating future foresight skills into their leadership toolkit.

Our official kick-off meeting:

  • Initial Meet up: Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at 8:30 AM EST

Save the Dates:

  • Mid-journey Meet up: Monday, November 18, 2024, at 8:30 AM EST
  • Scenario Sharing: Monday, December 2, 2024, at 8:30 AM EST

After registering, watch this space for more information about our asynchronous community.
