The Alberta Association of Midwives is committed to putting people first. The Board, staff and members who participate in our governance and day to day operations are thoughtful, authentic and passionate. Each of us is aware of our roles and responsibilities and the vision, mission and values of the AAM. Although we are disciplined and we focus on creating results, we don’t take ourselves too seriously so that we can have fun while being the change we want to see.

Event Details

The Alberta Association of Midwives will be hosting a Members Townhall on April 28th, 2025 from 10:00am to 11:30am. This will be an opportunity for AAM members to engage with the AAM board and review budget and policies for the upcoming fiscal year. A reminder with the Zoom link will be sent closer to the date, but please remember to mark your calendars now if you wish to attend.



The agenda for the Townhall is as follows:

  • 2025-26 AAM Budget
  • Policy Approval*
  • Negotiations Update


*We will be voting to approve the 2025 Programs & Services Policy at the Townhall, which you can review here​ prior to the meeting.
