Governance for Growth is so important for early stage companies, and the popularity of the last governance workshop reflects how much early stage companies and their investors realise this.

Angel Association New Zealand and New Zealand Trade & Enterprise invite you to join our Governance for Growth workshops.

Over the course of two weeks in August, our experts Debra Hall, and Greg Sitters, will take you through the intricacies of governance. The workshops will cover:

  • understanding the role of the board
  • the process behind forming a board
  • an overview of the legal obligations of Directors under the Companies Act
  • how to successfully run efficient and effective board meetings
  • common sense rules for keeping documentation

This workshop is for SME growth businesses, startups and others, that either already have a governance board or are thinking of establishing one. There is value for founders, managers, directors and aspiring directors in learning about how growth-focused governance board operate, and how to get the most from your board.

This workshop will be split into two sessions over two weeks, and you will need to be available to attend both. These will be hosted in person in Auckland.

  • Monday, 4th April | 9.00am - 11.30am
  • Monday, 11th April | 9.00am - 11.30am

When you register for the first session on 4th April, you will be automatically registered for the 2nd session on 11th April.
