Wednesday 24th May :: 10:00am - 11:30amWednesday 24th May :: 10:00am - 11:30am

An employee share ownership plan (ESOP) is an employee benefit that can give employees a share in the equity of a company.

While many companies have or intend to implement an ESOP plan for their employees, frequently they are not implemented effectively and the benefits of them not communicated well. It is important for founders, employees and investors to understand the implications of an ESOP and the impact it can have on the business.

In this session we will discuss the following from both the founders and investors perspectives on:

  1. How to design and implement an ESOP, with a focus on high-growth companies
  2. How share options work in practice
  3. How an ESOP makes up part of the remuneration package for employees, and understanding the value of an option from an employee's perspective
  4. Cap table implications
  5. Pro tips for good communications and tricky issues

Join Murray Whyte and Nadia Cooper from Avid.legal online on May 24th at 10am for the discussion.

Come armed with your specific questions as there will be lots of time for Q&A and discussion around specific experiences you have.

This session costs $40. If you can't make the session at this time, but would like to be sent the recording, please register for the event and we will then send you a link to the recording afterwards.
