Following the recent SAICA APC results release on 23 April 2021, great concern has been noted from various stakeholders regarding the continuous decline in APC pass rates particularly for black African candidates.

This has been a historical issue raised by ABASA to SAICA over the years and evidently no desirable change has been seen in the 2020 results despite various proposed interventions.

ABASA will be holding an official press conference which will unpack the 2020 APC results and highlight the concerning historical trend identified.

The recently formed ABASA National Education Committee will also be tabling it's recommendations already shared with SAICA through various engagements and calling for further input and support from all our members and stakeholders.
