Who Should Attend this Workshop:

• CEOs/Exec Directors, Chairs of Boards/Board Members, and Finance managers of NPOs/NGOs.
• Submit a letter of interest to attend the workshop, indicating your commitment to attend the entire day and the area of work you focus on as an organization.
• The organizations must still be active operationally, with a constituency, and have at least done your previous year's audit, as we will use that experience at the workshop.
• We need a max of 2 representatives from an organization, and the delegates must be in the senior management if they are not board members or chairs of boards.

About the Workshop

We are pleased to work with The Democracy Development Program NPC (DDP) in assisting Not for profit organisations (NPO's) with audit readiness. Over the last 7 years, I have been performing statutory and donor audits for a number of NPO's and have identified that most NPO are often unprepared for an audit and are not aware of the purpose of an audit and what is required of them.

This often results in organisations receiving a qualified audit opinion or incurring costs for overruns. The objective of the above-mentioned course is to educate NPO's on audits and to empower the NPO in implementing processes which will enable them to have a smoother audit. We have been engaged by DDP in presenting a 1-day workshop which is aimed at empowering NPO regarding audits.
