    Physical Therapist at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab

    Shannon La Penna earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Northwestern University. Dr. La Penna is a member of an interdisciplinary team at the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab Pain Management Center. She is passionate about collaborating with people living with pain in order to help them to learn and integrate self-management skills to engage in meaningful activities of life. Prior to becoming a physical therapist, Dr. La Penna developed strong communication and active listening skills through teaching Spanish to middle school students.
